Francis Tsai is an illustrator and concept artist who has worked on a variety of projects including Marvel Comics, Wizards of the Coast, as well as movies and games. Francis was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, in 2010. When he couldn’t use his hands or arms, he painted with his toe using his iPhone. Soon he also lost the use of his feet.

Earlier this year (2013), Francis’ good friend Teddy worked with Tobii to put together an eye-gaze (PC Eye) + tablet (Tablet Kiosk) setup. Francis very quickly figured out a way to begin creating art again using a combination of Sketchup and Photoshop.

Francis Tsai is really inspiring. This is one blog you’ll want to follow, take a few minutes to watch this video-he proves that you don’t have to give in to limitations.

Despite being unable to use his hands and feet, technology allows him to paint with his eyes using digital software.

I think I wanna put :Adapt : Survive : Prevail near my drawing table somewhere.
