I worked on it while I was teaching in Brisbane, usually getting the work done in between classes or in breaks. It was fun to paint the iridescent colours in the feathers, hair and clothes.
For those interested in media it was painted on Fabriano 640 GSM Hot Press Watercolour Paper using pencil, soft pastel, acrylic, ink and iridescent media. It’s 8” x 6” or 20.3 x 15.2 cm.
